How to prepare for your upcoming Appointment

Whether it is a long overdue visit, or a routine cleaning and oral cancer screening, there are a few things you can do to make the process go more smoothly. First, please have all medications (names and doses) that you are taking listed (or memorized) and ready to give to Dr. Hopgood and/or the hygienist. Please present any new insurance information to the receptionist at the time of check in. If there is any question if your insurance information is accepted by our office, please feel free to call. If a new health history and HIPAA privacy form have been mailed to you in advance, please have them filled out, ready, and with you at the time of your appointment. Come to your appointment prepared with any questions that you have for the doctor and/or hygienist and if you are experiencing discomfort please note which foods (sweet, sour, bitter, etc.) and temperatures (hot, cold) affect the particular tooth and/or area the most. Finally, please arrive on time as your entire scheduled appointment time is needed for your procedure as your tardiness inconveniences all other patients after you.

Appointment Policy

Whether you have an after hours emergency or if the office is closed for an extended period of time due to a dental conference, continuing education, or vacation, please call us at 978-475-2431. You will be connected to our answering service and they will contact the doctor immediately after your call has been placed. Dr. Hopgood will return your call as soon as possible.

An appointment is an agreement between our office and you. Our part calls for us to reserve doctor, staff, and office time for you. If you must reschedule an appointment, kindly give us 24 hours notice, since changes in appointments affect other patients and our staff. We regret to inform you that we must assess a charge for all failed appointments.

Please help us keep accurate records by keeping us up to date with any change in your name, address, telephone number, employment, or insurance information. Keep in mind, that it is also your responsibility to let us know about any changes in your health, as well as any medication(s) you are taking, since this may affect your treatment.


Insurance and Billing
We accept most traditional insurance plans, contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. Advanced Dental Concepts does not participate in Health Management Organizations; however, we will be happy to file your insurance claims for you. We accept checks, cash or credit cards. We also offer a flexible payment plan. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own dentist.

Accepted Insurance Carriers    We accept most  insurance PPO plans.  We are in network with Delta Dental Premier, Cigna and BlueCross Blue Shield of Massachusetts
