Teething
Most
babies begin teething between the ages of four and eight months and usually
stop teething around the age of three. Parents are generally alerted to
their child’s teething by their sore and tender gums and an increase in
drooling, biting, gnawing on toys, and sometimes irritability. Although
their gums are uncomfortable, there are a few things you can do to ease
the pain. We recommend gently rubbing your child’s gums with a clean finger,
cold washcloth, and giving baby a teething ring that has been refrigerated
to numb the gums.
